The Linn Sondek CD12 has been massively engineered to ensure that the data retrieval systems within the unit are allowed to operate at their optimum level. Each electronic subsystem within the Linn CD Engine is thoroughly isolated from the others to preclude any loss of audio performance.
The CD12 includes extensive use of advanced digital circuit techniques to ensure that the critical timing necessary for high-quality music reproduction is maintained.
The CD12 replay chain is completed with a very carefully implemented analogue audio stage to ensure faithful reproduction of the high dynamic range available from CD.
