TW-Acustic Raven Limited turntable and Raven 10.5 tonearm  in great condition. This unit is serial number 26 of a limited run of 50 ever manufactured. It sounds excellent and performs flawlessly. The quality and machining of the TW-Acustic turntables is exceptional.  The Raven 10.5 tonearm retails for over $7000 alone. I rated it an 8 out of ten, see below. It has fairly low hours on it as I have a very busy schedule and travel half the month. I see no wear whatsoever on the bearing plate. There are two tiny nicks on the chassis close to the platter surround. I see a few small pinhead sized nicks on the platter near the spindle.  The Raven Limited’s plinth is machined from anodized aluminum, while the table;s platter is a ring of stainless steel with an insert slab of TW-Acustic’s proprietary composite material , among whose ingredients are Delrin and copper powder. The modified Pabst high torque DC motor brings the Raven Limited’s platter up to speed quickly. There are speed control buttons to adjust speed under the plinth. Once you set it, you will likely never need to set the speed again.  This turntable is very solid and weighs about 95 pounds. In many ways, this is the best sounding turntable that I have owned. I’ve owned another German $25,000 turntable, a hand made 100 pound turntable with a copper platter and air bearing tonearm, multiple Regas, and a Garrard 301 in an expensive slate plinth. The Raven Limited bested them all and is super easy to set up and maintain. You can purchase a TW-Acustic armboard and try different tonearms with this turntable.  I have the original box, packing foam, and hard sided tonearm case. The Minus K platform that the turntable sits on in the photos is not included in this sale.

To celebrate TW Acustic’s tenth birthday in March 2013 we present the “Raven AC Anniversary”. The Anniversary represents a new statement in turntable manufacture. It is based on the Raven AC chassis, machined from our well-known proprietary custom compound with a screwed-in stainless-steel plate. The Anniversary’s platter is a composite construction consisting of 40mm thick copper fixed to a 20mm thick slice of our proprietary compound. Consequently, the platter is basically equal to that of the Black Night.

Our anniversary model has a very solid armboard machined from 30mm thick aluminium. We can provide the relevant adaptors for every tonearm. To achieve the correct mounting distance, the position of the adaptor for your particular tonearm can be adjusted steplessly in the slot in 1mm increments. To facilitate this we have etched a scale on the armboard showing 210–310mm. Should you wish to install more tonearms, extra swivel bases can be installed as before with the original Raven AC. From an acoustic point of view, the Anniversary offers the same advantages as the Raven AC, but thanks to the modifications keeps a firm eye on its bigger brother the Raven Black Night. Similar to the Black Night, the Anniversary lets the music flow, yet remains composed and pairs dynamics with incomparable transparency.
